Color me blue
Matt likes blue... navy blue. His school colors are navy blue and gold. When we painted his room a couple of years ago, we painted it blue, and he asked for a navy blue bedspread or comforter with a gold dust ruffle. I have searched in stores, online, and every place I can think of, but blue is not currently deemed a fashionable color and there is nothing that fits his requirements.

Why are people such slaves to fashion? Who dreams up what colors are fashionable? The current hot color in women's clothing is brown. My mother liked brown, she looked good in brown, and she often bought me clothes in brown or its various shades. But I do not like brown or look good in it. In fact I looked sickly pale and depressed when I put it close to my face. The brown neutrals have been in fashion for so long that my purples, pinks, and navys are literally wearing thin, and I am in need of replacements. But what can I find? Shades of orange, dull greens, beige, and, oh yes, brown. Noooooo!

The cycle of these colors has gone on long enough. Won't someone please bring back classic navy?
